We are machining expert. We have machines with various configurations that enable us to produce parts ranging from micro-class all the way to 5-axis parts. Our CNC machines handle processes such as milling, turning, drilling, boring, and knurling. We are constantly looking to innovate and expand our portfolio of services, increase our capabilities, and improve the efficiency behind our processes to create value for you.

Brand introduction

4-AXIS & 5-AXIS MILLING

Dramatic Time-savings and Increased Accuracy.

CNC milling shapes out of a metal or plastic material block that is usually flat, holding dimensions to tolerances as tight as 0.005mm. CNC mills consist of a multi-axis system (three, four, or five axis, depending on the part complexity).

Most CNC machines are only 3 axis, that means parts that need work done on three different sides require three different set-ups. On our 4-axis, mostly equipped with rotary table, and 5-axis machine, all three sides can be machined simultaneously. This saves time, reduces handling, and improves repeatability.

Brand introduction

Turning

Superior Product Finish Ensured by our Mazak’s Higher Accuracy and Less Vibration

Typically used to create a rounded surface, turning rotates the part when machining the desired shape, whereas milling rotates the tool. Commonly performed with a lathe, turning reduces the diameter of a workpiece to specified dimension and produces a smooth part finish. A turning center is a lathe with a computer numerical control (CNC).

Utilizing state of the art turning systems from MAZAK, we are capable of producing parts with diameter from less than 10 up to 350mm.

Brand introduction

SWISS TURNING

Absolute Precision for the Most Intricate Parts.

YOKAN offers swiss turning with CITIZEN and TSUGAMI machines, providing expertise when defense contractors or the medical industry needs dependable precision machined parts.

Swiss turning is ideal for manufacturing small, round parts where precision matters most. If you are looking for a solution for manufacturing unique components for your products as high quantity, this heightened accuracy and detail ensures that you are saving time and money on your operation.

Unlike a traditional lathe where the force of the tool is exerted on the part far from where the machine supports it, on the Swiss lathe, the force is right where the material is emerging from the bushing. Because of this ingenious design, the effects on the part from tool force is minimized, allowing for far greater precision work. As parts get smaller, the benefits of the Swiss turning process increase in comparison to the traditional lathe. Typically, Swiss type parts are less than 1 ¼” (32mm) in diameter with the majority being less than  ¾” in diameter. In addition, Swiss turning was built around the capability to produce components in very high volumes.
